After we spotted the bay-headed tanagers, the rain picked up. We were quite disappointed after driving 3 hours to get here. However, we stopped for food at a place where they put out banannas for the birds. Here we saw many tanagers, toucans and barbets up close. It turned out to be one of the best photo opportunities of the entire trip! Also, a milk truck turned over blocking our way home so were really lucky to have this place to hang out at to wait out the rain.
