Shikra's are small birds of prey that are common throughout India. They are even seen right behind Gowri's parent's house. The male seen above has beautiful red eyes. The female is bigger than the male and has yellow eyes. This female caught one of the bats that are also common near Gowri's parent's house: (Click).
