Sandhill cranes and their goofy behavior at sunrise make for amazing photo opporutnities at Bosque del Apache. Photographers from all over the world visit to catch pictures of the Snow Geese flyout at dawn. After the geese make their early morning flyout, the cranes start their making elegant moves as they jockey for position as seen above. They also line up and march across the water and often appear to be in synch:   (Click). The flyin in the evening is also a great time to photograph Sandhills as they come in to the pools to land after foraging in the fields. This guy really stuck the landing   (Click).
