An 8 month old male tiger cub after he has eaten his fill of Sambar deer that his mother, the Chorbehra tigress had killed earlier. Note the blood on his whiskers and lower jaw, junior still hasn’t mastered the art of cleaning up after a meal! This was a very lucky photo to obtain considering how difficult it is to see a tiger in the wild. The low light and dense vegetation also made the shot very challenging. Catching this cub right after his meal was a once in a lifetime experience.
