We searched for wild koalas for over an hour on the Sydney wildlife tour in an area where it is known that 5 koalas live in a fairly small eucalyptus forest. However, despite the guide knowing where some of these koalas were earlier in the week we still couldn't find them. What I thought wouldn't be too difficult soon became hopeless once one sees there are many trees and a koala is usually motionless and looks like a furry basketball. Luckily we had another chance for wild koalas along the great ocean road. Here at Kennett River is one of the best chances to see wild koalas. Here we got of the bus and Aditya spotted one in five minutes! We ended up seeing three.
